2.  Think of a time when you or a colleague introduced a new idea into your department or work group. What was the role of leadership in furthering the idea? Who took leadership? How did it work out? Is there any way, in retrospect, that you can see how an understanding of the state of mind of the people discussing the idea would have mattered?
