1. Consider a recent meeting you attended. How would you describe the state of mind of the participants? How well did people listen and respond? How many new ideas came out of the meeting?
Reflecting on the link between state of mind and productivity, what connections do you see between the way people were using their thinking and the way they were feeling (their state of mind) during that meeting and the success of the meeting? How did (or could) leadership based in an understanding of the role of state of mind affect the outcome?
